Davies Woven Wire Limited was founded in 1998 by Peter Davies and initially the company concentrated on the manufacture of wire mesh baskets and panels predominantly for the heat treatment industry.
In 1999 they began manufacturing woven wire conveyor belts in a small 5,000 square foot factory located in Cradley Heath in the West Midlands.
Continued growth saw them achieve over £1.5 Million worth of annual sales by the end of 2003.
Davies Woven Wire continued their development and by 2013 their turnover was in excess of £3 Million and they were now employing 25 people at their premises in Cradley Heath which now covered an area amounting to approximately 12,000 square feet.
Towards the end of 2015 continued growth meant that larger premises were now required and in December of that year Davies Woven Wire Limited moved into a larger 20,000 square feet production facility in Cradley Heath.
